Training of Peer Mentors and Guidance Counselors on AKGIS Project In Benue State

Tabitha Cumi Foundation conducted an impactful capacity building training for Peer Mentors and Guidance counselors in Benue State on the Always Keeping Girls in School project funded by Charities Aid Foundation CAF America.
The session was aimed at training them on supportive roles on menstrual health hygiene management and mainstreaming prevention and response mechanisms on Gender-based violence in Junior Secondary Schools.
It was an interesting and enlightening training.
In attendance were the Desk Officer for Sexual and Gender Based Violence from Benue State Ministry of Education, Vice Principal of Federal Government Girls College Gboko, school Guidance counselors, students (peer mentors) and the TCF team.
