Training of Peer Mentors and Guidance Counselors on AKGIS Project in Lagos State
Tabitha Cumi Foundation conducted an impactful capacity building training for Peer Mentors and Guidance counselors in Lagos State on the Always Keeping Girls in School project funded by Charities Aid Foundation CAF America.
The session was aimed at training them on supportive roles on menstrual health hygiene management and mainstreaming prevention and response mechanisms on Gender-based violence in Junior Secondary Schools.
It was an interesting and enlightening training.
In attendance were the representative from Lagos State Ministry of Education, School Guidance counsellors, students (peer mentors) and TCF team.
